I'm a hard critic when it comes to Pizza. Most times I won't even eat it when I go out due to the countless times of disappointment. Having lived in New York City and traveled to Italy I'm sure my palette is jaded. Therefore instead of being a pizza snob I just tell people I don't eat pizza. This is why I was even surprised that I suggested dining here before catching a movie with my cousin. Well it could have been the cute guy eating outside. Ok, Ok, Ok, it was the cute guy, so here's to you Mr. No name cutie. On to the food. The bruschetta was full of flavor with the bacon really complimenting the pesto. Arancini perfectly fried yet flavor lacking let's just say I would eat it again on someone's else's dime. Now the Pizza, the Pizza was memorable. The sauce and crust is what makes this pizza worth while. The crust was crispy yet chewy and with wood fired pizza that's not easy to achieve. I was thrilled that the sauce tasted fresh and not over bearing. Was it OMG I will drive back 45min just for it...No. Yet I will delightfully return as well as suggest having Pizza at Settebello again, and for me that's saying A Lot.
