ICE CREAM....That's right this post is dedicated to one of my favorite all time treats. As a kid my favorite part of science class was when we made our very own ice cream, it was always so good and best of all completely natural. I have to say I personally am not a fan of Cows Milk but Almond Milk has captured my heart. Therefore here is a recipe of my favorite treat made the same exact way as in my grade school science class many moons ago, and featuring Vanilla Almond Milk (trust me it taste Ahhhhmazing)...Enjoy and try not to scream to loud!!!
P.S Thanks Auntie Ronda this post was entirely inspired by you. <3
Ingredients
1-Cup Vanilla Almond Milk (Silk Pure Almond Vanilla is my Favorite found at any local U.S grocery store)2- tbsp Sugar
1/2-tspVanilla
2-cups Ice
1/4- cup Rock Salt (Ice Cream Salt)
1-Qt (.94 L) Ziploc bag
1-Gal (3.78 L) Ziploc bag
1.Pour milk, sugar, and vanilla into quart-sized Ziploc bag; shake.
2.Pour ice and rock salt in gallon-sized Ziploc back; shake.
3.Put small Ziploc into larger Ziploc. Slosh the bag back and fourth across your counter top until the ice cream becomes nice and thick.
4.This is Ziploc ice cream; grab a spoon and just eat it right out of the bag.
